Perhaps it only exists in our imaginations, in our collective consciousness, as some manifestation of our arrogance and overdeveloped sense of cosmic importance. Perhaps it is nothing more than a shared human daydream or an agreed-upon name for an intangible impossibility—a grand idea, borne of our imagination that is restricted only by the boundaries of our imagination. Perhaps it is just a mystifying conjecture of the mind. Where does forever begin and where does it end? Does it begin or end? The cells and atoms that compose our bodies are beyond our perception, but they are no less real. The lives of our great-great-grandparents can no longer be observed, but they still lived. Furthermore, you exist because they existed. You live and experience the world because they lived and experienced the world. They had no way to foresee the details of your life, to know who you would become or the challenges that you would overcome in your life, but you exist today and reflect their influences. In the same way, we have no foresight or knowledge of the lives of those who will live in generations to come, but if nothing should happen to interrupt the chain of humanity, they will live and they will reflect our influences. They will experience the world as we have and overcome challenges as we have. They will know life as we do.”

“Too often, we discount the value of our personal worth and contributions in life. We convince ourselves that we are not smart enough or talented enough to significantly contribute to the ages. Yet, every single person has a significant contribution to make within humanity. Every person is important. Think of it like following a recipe when baking a cake. You do not leave out the ingredients that are used in smaller quantities because they are somehow less important. They are not deemed unnecessary simply because you use less of them. Each ingredient adds to the overall flavor and consistency of the cake. Every ingredient in the recipe is needed, if you want the cake to turn out correctly. In the same way, there is no such thing as an insignificant life within humanity. Every person has merit; every person adds worth.”
